Gee it's nice that Matt was able to make it to the College semi finals. Maybe he should have worked harder to se that his team made went too. So long Matt :)

I cannot believe that you would make a bid deal of Matt going to the Nationals when he did such a poor job coaching his team who did not qualify.

Is that what he was doing instead of coaching the team last weekend? 12 th in the Admiral's Cup is an insult to what used to be a great ICYRA Legacy - perhaps Matt should take a leave of absence or just quit and focus on his personal sailing so KP can have a full time coach who cares to return them to the position they should have in the ICYRA - Top 5 in the polls instead of being unranked.

Thank you for your comments. Matt has decided to leave Kings Point. The team has had a few tough seasons, and that has as much to do with the state of the Academy as a whole as with coaching. We wish Matt the best of luck, and will be advertising soon to fill the position. CJG

As a member of the team I can say we had the opptunity to go to semifinals and as a team we blew it. So we cant be pointing fingers at the coach for not making the semi finals. He can coach and coach but if the kids sailing don't come through then we aren't quilifing. So people need to realize that if you are a sailor then you know but if your not a sailor please stop commenting on this because you have no idea what your talking about.
