Waterfront Midshipmen take 3 of 4 Awards

Midshipmen Jordan Musselman, Mike Burbello, and Kyle O'Connor were three of the four winners of the Captain Garrison Connor '57 award, presented at the Regimental Holiday Dinner.   The scholarship awards are given annually in the amount of $1000 to midshipmen who "have demonstrated a keen interest in all aspects of the seagoing profession and exhibited the sense of responsibility expected of a future ship's captain. The award is made possible through the generosity of the late Captain Peter F. Johnson '57, who was the former President of Pacific Gulf Marine and a classmate of the late Captain Connor '57"  M/N Musselman is the Regimental Waterfront Training Officer, M/N Burbello is the Midshipman Waterfront Officer, and M/N O'Connor is the Rowing Team Captain.  Congrats to our sailors for truly living the spirit of their award.

Every year after the Midshipmen head home to their families, the Waterfront Staff gathers for an annual Holiday Lunch in the Cain Family home. the staff are treated to giant slabs of prime rib with all the trimmings. Thank you to Rich and Diane for hosting yet another fine day. We at the Kings Point Waterfront wish the rest of our family (all of you) a Happy Holiday as well.

Holiday Ball

Someone had the wonderful idea to hold the Holiday Ball in Wiley Hall instead of Delano.  The venue change was great- here is a blurry but cool photo from the quarterdeck balcony.
