Survival Training for Coast Guard Station Kings Point

The Kings Point Waterfront and Coast Guard Station Kings Point have a great relationship, so when they asked to borrow some of our boats for a "secret" mission we were more than happy to help out. What they were up to was an amazing educational and team building mission for their crew as seen in the video below.

Genuine Risk Heading South

It was a cold and snowy day in Baltimore today as we put Genuine Risk on a trailer for the first leg of her trip to the Caribbean.  Putting a 97' Super-Maxi on a truck is not quite like pulling the ski boat out of the Lake- check the pictures here.

Team Barnegat Bay in 38th after 1st Day of Racing

From Facebook Post-

Team Barnegat Bay Today was comparable to Toms River at it's worst: 7-18 knots with random 30 degree shifts! We faired well with all of our experience in those conditions. Out of 62 boats we're sitting in 38th and are feeling pretty good. We were always in the race duking it out with the top pack which is fairly new for us but definately where we belong. We're excited for more racing! Supposed to blow 15-25 tomorrow.

Peet Must '05 at 49er World Championship

Peeter Must KP '05 and Carl Horrock begin racing today for the 49er class World Championship being held in the Bahamas. Here are some updates from the Team Barnegat Bay Facebook Page-

Team Barnegat Bay Well we came back to the states yesterday after an amazing week of training in the Bahamas! Out of 7 days, we were on the water for 6, and of those 6, 4 were doubles. The last two days of sailing we participated in a coach run regatta with 25 of the top boats in the world. We can't wait to get back down there for our World Championship. Happy Holidays

Team Barnegat Bay HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! We have been down in the Bahamas for 5 days now and are comfortably settled in for the main event. The first four days here we sailed six really good sessions. We sailed a lot of practice races and were finally able to put it all together and round the windward mark 2nd in a 30 boat fleet race...

Peet and Carl have some of the best digs on the Island to stay in thanks to Gary Gilbert 'KP 71 who has a house there.

And here is an interview of Peet after practice this week.

Good luck to Team Barnegat Bay! Here are some links to follow the action-
