Name Our New Boat (Again!!)

(Edit) OK- so Gunsmoke is a cool name and all, but I've got to plug for my favorite- I think the boat is kind of spacey looking, and we have some history of naming boats after Waterfront dogs (Hercules) so how about Starlight, Ralf's lab who was with us for several years?

A few weeks ago we picked up a new donation (thank you Mr. DeJonge) and it needs a name! The boat is a pretty flashy looking 56' Simonis/Voogd Cruiser Racer.

I thought it was going to be a dry one, but it left a bit of a MoonShadow in my shorts...

We race against a boat named Devocean all the time- have to be original.

I suggest returning to some of the names from the early days of the program - some of them were pretty cool - one that hasn't been used on the waterfront in some time I've always liked: Icefire;

Of course No Quarter - was classic and quite representative of the spirit that we aspire KP to be with the right sort of Maritime Heritage in it.

Rhumb Runner - won it's share of CCA tropies under the KP Burgee as weel and has been dormant for some time, though I've always preferrd the other two...

Something original but with a solid Maritime Heritage would be great too - I'm not a fan of either Devocean or Moon Shadow -
Devocean since it's not original, nor for that matter is Moon Shadow, there have been a raft of yachts with that name in YRA-LIS as a tribute to Harry Chapin, a Long Islander, so I've felt the name overdone for some years...
